Christmas
Jesus Christ was not born on December 25th or anywhere near there.
There is no scripture to justify the celebration of Christmas, let alone a command. In fact, many of the early settlers to the US would have nothing to do with this practice.
There are two places in the scriptures where men made up celebrations “to honor the Lord”. One that most folks already know of is in Exodus 32 and we all know how well that one worked out. The other is found at 1 Kings 12:25-33 and in reading the context, one can see that invented holy day was intended for nothing but pure evil. Why Christians would want to take part in extra-biblical practices and call them “in honor of the Lord” is beyond me.
I challenge the reader to look up Christmas in the encyclopedia, online, or otherwise and see what there is to see. Below are some in depth sermons on the topic and below that are some videos showing the true meaning of this holiday.

Below is a video series from YouTube that is quite succinct on the true history of Christmas. This information is available in numerous places, like history.com, but the video series is a pretty quick way to get up to speed on the real meanings of the tradition of Christmas.
